PREMISES:
Move Well
433 St Asaph Street
Christchurch
With the move away from any formal COVID response, Christchurch Chiropractic will continue to have certain measures in place:
A mask is no longer legally required, and the position of both the Ministry of Health and NZ Chiropractic Board remains that masks are recommended in situations where ‘the three Cs’ are encountered, being Closed spaces, Crowded places, and Close-contact situations
Based on my risk assessment and this advice, I will continue to wear a P2 mask, as this is the most respectful approach for the 40+ people I see per week
I would also recommend that you wear a mask for your visit too, although it is down personal choice, should you prefer not to
I will still have surgical masks available which you are welcome to use should you forget yoursI will continue to text when I’m ready, if you would prefer to wait in your car, but you are welcome to take a seat in reception if you arrive shortly before the time of your appointment
Contact surfaces will continue to be sanitised periodically
Air movement promoted via extraction system
ALL PATIENTS:
COVID and other respiratory illnesses continue to circulate in the community, so if you have new respiratory symptoms including one of the following: cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, runny nose or temporary loss of smell with or without fever, for the sake of other patients as well as staff, please do not attend your appointment
IF you have symptoms, it could be anything, but given its prevalence, it’s likely to be COVID
Please test!
If you would like to discuss what is going on for you, please feel free to call me on 027 448 5776
I promise there is an answer phone, 2 Degrees tell me there’s no way of changing the fact it needs to ring 10 times!
If the next available appointment is further out than you would like, my suggestion would be to contact Craig Dalton, who is my go-to person for when I have stuff going on myself. Craig is not a chiro, and is heading into the final year of his osteopathy degree next year, so doesn’t currently use manipulation in his practice. He is however an experienced manual therapist, and he does good work. He also certainly has availability that I just don’t currently!
You can book a session Mondays and Saturdays: https://www.cdtherapy.co.nz/
While the online booking system is easy to use, there are very occasionally (but often enough to make it worth mentioning) appointments that patients arrive for, which haven’t actually been booked/completed, although they were sure it had been. I’d rather that didn’t happen to you, so:
Make sure to click through until it says ‘Booking confirmed’ and check for a confirmation email (including spam and other folders)- if you don’t get one, the booking hasn’t been made!
