A couple of years on from any formal COVID response at a national level, the position of both the Ministry of Health and NZ Chiropractic Board remains that masks are recommended in situations where ‘the three Cs’ are encountered:
Closed spaces, Crowded places, and Close-contact situations
Based on my risk assessment and this advice, from January 2025 I am comfortable not masking, but if that remains your preference, I am still very happy for us both to wear masks
Given this change it really is imperative that you tell me about recent COVID infections and isolation periods, there’s a lot of trust in this!
ALL PATIENTS:
COVID and other respiratory illnesses continue to circulate in the community, so if you have new respiratory symptoms including one of the following: cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, runny nose or temporary loss of smell with or without fever, for the sake of other patients as well as staff, please do not attend your appointment
IF you have symptoms, it could be anything, but given its prevalence, it’s likely to be COVID

While the online booking system is easy to use, there are very occasionally (but often enough to make it worth mentioning) appointments that patients arrive for, which haven’t actually been booked/completed, although they were sure it had been. I’d rather that didn’t happen to you, so:
Make sure to click through until it says ‘Booking confirmed’ and check for a confirmation email (including spam and other folders)- if you don’t get one, the booking hasn’t been made!
